Touchscreen Interface for HotDog Patient Warming System
256 Color Palette
Several technical constraints and design restrictions were imposed on the interface development process.
The overall color palette could not exceed 256 colors and every graphical element must be in bitmap format. The 480×800 resolution screen could not perform anti-aliasing or dithering, so graphics needed this done prior to display.
Animations and movement were not an available feature. Each change in an element required a screen refresh.
